Full body workout

I love suspension training for my clients because the opportunities to customise workouts are endless. From fat loss to flexibility workouts or short (hiit) workouts to longer sessions there are just so many variants and it provides a full body workout whilst working your core at the same time.



This is one of the most important reasons as to why I love suspension training with my pre and postnatal clients. It’s low-impact and safe which is so important when training mums and mum-to-be. Until they reach a stage where they can go hell for leather (if that is their hearts desire) we as trainers need to exercise caution and make sure we screen properly and take into consideration any issues they have and incorporate it into our exercise prescription.


Strong Core, Strong Floor

If I have said it before, I’ll say it again. Having a strong core is everything, it’s like building a house without having any foundations. Suspension training is all about the core, not matter what workout you are doing this fab bit of kit forces you to use your core, which in turn is going to improve you pelvic floor, and help with strengthen your lower back. It’s functional and because it’s all about using your body weight I can select exercises that mimic the movement that help with the day-to-day job of being a mum.



I can take this bad boy anywhere with me because it’s so light. It can also be set up anywhere, hotels, parks at home, in fact anywhere that I am training my clients I can pop it in my handbag and set it up in minutes


Amateur to Athlete

You can be completely new to exercise or a mama athlete who is returning to exercise whatever you level the piece of kit has got my client and myself, covered. It allows me to cover the basics then move onto safe progressions minus the risk of injury. Increasing or decreasing the foot position sets the level which allows for a truly bespoke workout for all my clients.
